In 1969 Jobs met Steve Wozniak through mutual friends, and together they share their love for electronics.
A few years later, in 1972 Jobs and Woz illegally build and sell "blue boxes" which allows people to make calls for free. Jobs says if it weren't for these blue boxes, Apple might not have been invented, because the blue boxes showed him and Woz that they could take on large companies and beat them.
1973 Jobs goes to Reed Collage, but only stays there for one semester, before dropping out, but not completely. He sometimes would drop in on classes that interested him from time to time.
!974 Jobs gets his job at video game maker Atari.
1974 Jobs traveled to India where he stayed for 7 months with his friend Daniel Kottke. While they were there they studied Zen Buddhism from Zen master Kobun Chino Otogawa. When Jobs returned to America he had a whole new appearance-a shaven head and was clothed in traditional Indian clothing. He described his experiences with psychedelics and LSD as "one of the two or three most important things he had done in his life".
1976 Jobs and Woz start building and assembling the first Apple 1 computers and selling them to people interested in computers, and from here the Apple company takes off.
